A high-level delegation from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, led by Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore and recipient of the prestigious Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (T.I.), visited University of Wah on 12 May 2026 to promote academic collaboration, research activities, and discussions on emerging reforms in Engineering Education. Upon arrival at the University of Wah, the distinguished delegation was warmly received by the senior university officials.
During the visit, an interactive meeting was held with the Faculty of Engineering, where both institutions exchanged views on matters of mutual academic interest. Discussions focused on the promotion of research culture, strengthening industry-academia linkages, curriculum development, quality enhancement in engineering programs, and future opportunities for collaborative research and academic partnerships.
Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir also shared valuable insights on evolving trends in higher education and the importance of producing skilled and employable graduates capable of meeting contemporary technological and industrial challenges.
