The National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) conducted an accreditation visit for the MS Education program offered by the Department of Education, University of Wah, on 16-17 December 2025. The visit aimed to assess the academic quality, curriculum alignment, faculty strength, research culture, infrastructure, and overall compliance of the program with NACTE accreditation standards.
During the visit, the NACTE evaluation team held comprehensive meetings with the university administration, faculty members, students, and alumni. The team also reviewed academic records, course outlines, assessment practices, research activities, and the physical facilities of the department to ensure adherence to national quality benchmarks.
The evaluation team comprised two distinguished academicians: Dr. Muhammad Abiodullah from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, and Ms. Farzana Iqbal from Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, who appreciated the Department of Education’s efforts in maintaining academic standards, promoting research-oriented learning, and fostering a supportive academic environment. They also offered constructive feedback and valuable recommendations for further enhancement of the program in line with national and international best practices.
Department of Education expressed sincere gratitude to the NACTE evaluators for their insightful guidance and reassured its commitment to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and excellence in teacher education.
