Department of Economics, University of Wah, is pleased to share that Ms. Rehana Ali Naqvi, Lecturer, presented her research paper titled "The Impact of Renewable Energy and Forest Areas on Air Pollution" at the Two-Day International Conference on "Dynamics of Environment, Sustainability, and Gender Disparities," held on 13 November 2025, at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India.
The paper, co-authored by Ms. Fatima Masood, a Graduate Student, University of Wah, and Dr. Irfan Hussain, Assistant Professor, GCU Faisalabad, emphasizes the importance of renewable energy and forest conservation in reducing air pollution and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in South Asia.
