Sunday, November 1, 2026

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Wah, participated as Chief Guest in a seminar commemorating World Mental Health Day, organized by Umeed-e-Shifa Rehabilitation Centre Pvt. Ltd. in Bani Gala, Islamabad, on 01 November 2026. The seminar, held under the global theme “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” brought together university students, mental health professionals, and multidisciplinary specialists to promote mental health awareness and community engagement.

Prof. Dr. Rizwan also participated as a distinguished subject expert in a panel discussion, highlighting the importance of integrating lived experiences into mental healthcare practices, reducing stigma, strengthening peer-support systems, and promoting compassionate and evidence-based psychological interventions.
