Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Wah, organized a webinar titled “Environment-Friendly Chemical Processes (SDG-13)” on 19 August 2026. The webinar aimed to promote awareness of Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action) and highlight the importance of sustainable and environmentally responsible practices in chemical engineering.
Dr. Khurram Shahzad Baig, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical and Energy Engineering, PAF-IAST, Haripur, was the guest speaker for the session. A large number of students, faculty members, and guests attended the webinar and benefited from the speaker’s valuable insights into environment-friendly chemical processes.
At the outset, Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Azam, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, welcomed the guest speaker and introduced him to the participants. The webinar concluded with a vote of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Khurram Shahzad Baig for sharing his expertise and contributing to the promotion of sustainable chemical engineering practices and the objectives of SDG-13.
