VC University of Wah, Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (Sitara-i-Imtiaz), in his office on 12th March 2026. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the Chairman on assuming his new role, discuss ongoing activities, explore new avenues for collaboration, and further strengthen collaborative efforts between UW and HEC. Accompanying the Vice Chancellor were Prof. Shahab Khushnood and Prof. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC. The Vice Chancellor extended full support for the Chairman’s efforts to enhance faculty and government trust in the HEC. The VC highlighted the University of Wah’s strengths, particularly its expertise and offered professional and technical HR support to realize HEC initiatives. Chairman HEC, Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (Sitara-i-Imtiaz) appreciated the efforts of UW in promoting quality education. The VC invited the Chairman to visit the University of Wah at his convenience, an invitation the Chairman gladly accepted.
