Department of Psychology, University of Wah, organized a Community Development Project on 13 February 2026 at Al-Ummat Welfare Foundation, Wah Cantt. BS Psychology students visited the orphanage under the supervision of Chairperson Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan and course instructor Ms. Wajiha Arshad.
The initiative aimed to promote mental wellness and emotional well-being among children from vulnerable backgrounds. Students conducted interactive activities focused on psychological support, empathy building, and positive engagement. The visit concluded with positive feedback from the administration, a collective donation by students, and mutual encouragement for continued collaboration, highlighting the importance of structured psychological support in orphan care settings.
