Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, Chairperson, Department of Psychology, University of Wah, attended the Leadership Character Development Summit as a guest speaker for Workshop Delivery Oversight on 15 February 2026. The summit was held at the Institute of Corporate and Taxation and organized in collaboration with The Project Suicide (TPS) and Rebirth Pakistan to strengthen Pakistan’s human infrastructure through psychosocial leadership development.
The one-day intensive workshop focused on cultivating character-driven leadership, resilience, and ethical decision-making among emerging leaders. Participants engaged in structured psychosocial profiling, character audit exercises, and crisis resilience frameworks designed to enhance leadership effectiveness in high-pressure environments.
During the summit, Prof. Dr. Rizwan supervised the workshop delivery process and commended the evidence-informed, intervention-based approach, which emphasized experiential and reflective learning over traditional lecture formats. Ms. Dimple Kumari and Ms. Rizwana, lecturers from the Department of Psychology, also participated in the event andcontributed to the academic representation and professional engagement of UW faculty.
Prof. Rizwan expressed his gratitude to Mr. Sheraz Akbar, Founder & CEO of The Project Suicide (TPS), and the training team for organizing such an insightful and impactful workshop. The event provided valuable exposure to contemporary psychosocial leadership models and fostered opportunities for institutional networking and collaboration.
