Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Wah, organized a Capacity Building Activity titled “How to Use AI Tools in Academic Writing” on 22-23 January 2026 to continue fostering academic excellence and keeping students updated with the latest trends in AI-assisted research. The two-day workshop aimed to equip students with practical skills to leverage AI tools in academic writing, thereby enhancing research productivity and publication capabilities.
The event was attended by enthusiastic students who benefited from the expertise of Engr. Mr. Waqas Javid, Lecturer MED, served as the Resource Person. He provided detailed insights into AI applications in academic writing and guided participants on how to integrate these tools effectively into their research workflows. The workshop not only promoted innovation and skill development in artificial intelligence but also empowered participants to improve the quality and efficiency of their academic writing.
