Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) to equip faculty members with comprehensive skills and knowledge to enhance their teaching effectiveness and professional growth in higher education conducted Batch 17 of the Faculty Development Program on "Advancing Teaching Excellence: Strategies for Effective Higher Education Instructions and Professional Development” from January 2024 at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. Dr. Saleem Iqbal, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering; Mr. Atif Hussain Shah, Lecturer, Department of Management Sciences; and Muhammad Talha Saeed, Lecturer, Department of Computer Science, participated in the training and represented University of Wah. During the training sessions, many topics were covered, including effective teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, stress management, methods to enhance critical thinking, understanding learner psychology, personality grooming, and HEC education policies. The concluding ceremony was graced by Chairperson PHEC, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Mansoor Ahmad Baluch. Moreover, University of Wah’s team met with Chief Operating Officer Dr. Mansoor Ahmad and Director of Training Dr. Muhammad Asif Munir and discussed various matters.
