Department of Biosciences, University of Wah, organized a two-day workshop titled "Implication of Systematic Reviews in Research" on 04-05 August 2025, aimed at strengthening the research skills of postgraduate and undergraduate students. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Joham Sarfaraz Ali, Assistant Professor, NUMS, Rawalpindi, who covered key aspects of systematic reviews, including research question formulation (PICO/PECO), search strategies, inclusion and exclusion criteria, data extraction, quality assessment, and synthesis methods. She also introduced essential tools and databases such as PRISMA, PROSPERO, and Rayyan.
Participants took part in interactive sessions and hands-on activities, gaining valuable practical insights into the systematic review process. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, led by Dr. Shumaila Naz, Chairperson, Department of Biosciences, to acknowledge the enthusiastic participation of the attendees.
