Computing Society, University of Wah, organized NextGen Battle Royale Season 4 on 22 January 2026. More than 120 participants from various cities, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Islamabad, and Wah Cantt, reflect its wide outreach and growing recognition.
Students from numerous reputable institutions participated, including COMSATS University, Islamabad; Air University, Islamabad; UET Taxila; Riphah International University, Rawalpindi; HITEC University, Taxila; Bahria University, Islamabad; Virtual University; Roots International School; Beaconhouse; FG College; KIPS Colleges; and the University of Wah. The event served as a platform for inter-institutional engagement and healthy competition. Competitions were conducted in four popular gaming titles: Tekken 8, PUBG Mobile, FIFA 26, and Call of Duty. The tournament emphasized not only gaming proficiency but also teamwork, strategic thinking, discipline, and sportsmanship, promoting a positive and responsible gaming environment.
The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Aun Raza, Vice President Operations, Stella Technologies, as the Chief Guest, who delivered an inspiring talk on “Finding Your Greatness,” encouraging students to pursue excellence and innovation. The Guest of Honor, Dr. Atiq Raza, CEO of Positive Solutions, highlighted the importance of positive entertainment in personality development and mental well-being. Mr. Jawad Hussain, representing the Central Asian Cellular Forum, also attended the ceremony.
The closing ceremony was presided over by the Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un-Nabi, who emphasized the significance of nurturing a healthy, ethical, and constructive gaming culture within academic institutions. He distributed shields and cash prizes among the winners and runners-up and commended the organizers for
