Department of Computer Science, University of Wah, organized a Community Service Visit to the Al Ummat Welfare Foundation, Wah Cantt, as part of its student engagement and outreach initiatives on 17 June 2025. Faculty members Ms. Munazza Bibi, Coordinator, Ms. Saba Latif, and Mr. Hassan Shafaqat, Demonstrators, Department of Computer Science, along with BSCS 2nd semester students, participated in this meaningful activity.
Students engaged in interactive sessions, shared stories, and distributed essential items, creating a warm and supportive environment for the residents. A guided tour of the facility offered insights into its operations and daily challenges. The visit left a lasting impression on students, fostering a renewed sense of gratitude and social awareness. The foundation’s management appreciated the department’s efforts in promoting compassion and community involvement among youth.
