Since its establishment in 2005, the University of Wah has remained committed to the development of human capital and the advancement of higher education for future generations. The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), encompassing the Departments of Psychology, English, Economics, Education, Islamic Studies, and Sociology, serves as a vibrant center for academic excellence and societal engagement. We offer a comprehensive range of degree programs including BS, MS, and PhD, alongside skill development opportunities through certificate courses and specialized diploma programs, aimed at preparing students to meet the evolving demands of the modern world.
In today’s rapidly changing global landscape, the role of social sciences is more critical than ever. Our faculty is dedicated to fostering critical thinking, ethical understanding, and evidence-based problem-solving through innovative teaching practices and interdisciplinary research. By integrating modern pedagogical approaches and promoting academic activities such as seminars, workshops, and conferences, we strive to equip our students and faculty members with the advanced knowledge and competencies required to address complex social, economic, psychological and cultural challenges at both national and international levels.
The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Wah is open to collaboration with national and international academia, research organizations, NGOs, industries, services providers and ministerial offices for local, national, and global projects.
