Department of Economics, University of Wah (UW), organized an insightful stock market awareness session at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) Islamabad Office on 29 May 2025, aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of financial markets and investment strategies. Under the guidance of Mr. Syed Tahir Hussain Shah (Lecturer, Economics), session was attended by senior students and faculty, including Dr. Sania Shaheen, Ms. Rehana Ali Naqvi, and Ms. Beenish Mehboob, lecturers in Department of Economics. Experts from PSE shared valuable insights on market structure, trading mechanisms, and the importance of financial literacy.
The session concluded with a mutual commitment to future collaboration. PSE invited students for monthly awareness sessions and internship opportunities, while UW welcomed PSE experts for on-campus engagements.
