Computer Lab

Computer Lab contains fully functional high speed computers with installed software like MATLAB, Creo, Auto CAD, C++, Solid works, Visual Studio, OrCAD, Proteus etc. The purpose of this lab is to give the students deep knowledge and practical hands on experience of the latest programming techniques, Control Systems, 2D Drafting and Annotations, 3D Modeling, Artificial intelligence, Machine Vision and much more.

Robotics Lab

Robotics Lab contains RHINO XR-4 Servo Robots with Mark-IV controllers for feedback and control, interfaced with desktop PC's for dynamic programming plus LEGO Mindstorm NXT kits for modular robot building. The purpose of this lab is to give the students deep knowledge about robotic arms known as manipulators, how they are built, programmed, controlled and what are the applications of the manipulators in the industry.

CNC Lab

CNC Machines Lab contains fully automated stepper motor controlled mini lathe and milling machines, each of which interface with desktop PC’s running Linux. These machines come with a stepper motor controller and software named mini-mill in which G-codes are used to control the tool path. The purpose of this lab is to give the students a brief introduction to CNC machines, how they are used to make different parts and how they are programmed.

Mechatronics Project Lab

This lab contains the equipment required by the students during their semester and final year projects such as soldering stations, function generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies and electronic devices as well as mechanical equipment. The purpose of this lab is to provide a work area for the students where they can stay even after University hours and work on their projects without any interruption.

Embedded Systems Lab

TThis lab contains DSP starter kits, Easy Pic 5 Development boards, PC’s, different versions of PIC Microcontrollers and various IC's used in the development of students' projects. The facility of Digital Signal Processing and Digital Image Processing is also available in this lab. The purpose of this lab is to give the students practical experience of signal processing and Easy Pic 5 Development kits to acquire basic knowledge about the systematic design of embedded systems and to obtain practical experience with the development of such systems.

Sensors and Actuators Lab

This Sensors and Actuators Lab is equipped with various sensors and actuators to help students clearly understand functioning and working of all sensors being used in industries. This lab is provided with AC and DC power supplies which are used to operate instrumentation trainers. Along sensors and transducers, hydraulic and pneumatic actuators, and data acquisition modules are also available for performing practical interfaces with the instruments. Students also work on virtual instrument platform in order to enhance their design and development skills.
