Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), University of Wah, organized a three-day in-house faculty development program from 22-24 July 2024 to enhance faculty members' academic excellence and professional development. This training initiative aims to empower educators with AI techniques and innovative methodologies to enrich the academic landscape. The program covered various topics, including classroom management, examination assessments, and patent filing. Dr. Shaukat Ali, Director, ORIC, warmly welcomed the 30 faculty members selected for Cohort-II, as well as the trainers: Dr. Saleem Iqbal, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering; Dr. Ambreen Haqdad, Assistant Professor, Department of Education; Dr. Sadiq Usman Burki, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics; Dr. Muhammad Ijaz, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering; and Dr. Taimur Mazhar Sheikh, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, trained by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) in Lahore/Murree. The training sessions featured a dynamic exchange of ideas, hands-on activities, and insightful discussions, creating an environment conducive to learning and growth. Director ORIC commended the trainers' and participants' dedication and commitment, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in fostering a continuous learning culture.
