The Center of Excellence, University of Wah, conducted a series of transformative and application-focused training sessions on 03 July 2025, aimed at equipping students with essential skills in research and data analytics. These sessions were part of the center’s ongoing mission to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application through targeted, skill- based learning.
One of the sessions, led by Dr. Kamil Hussain, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences, explored the use of advanced AI tools in academic research. It guided thesis students and early-career researchers on how to effectively leverage AI for enhancing synopses, literature reviews, and research design, ultimately making their academic work more efficient and insightful.
Another session, conducted by Dr. Asim Masood, Lecturer, Department of Management Sciences, provided hands-on training in Structural Equation Modeling using SMART PLS. This workshop equipped students with the skills to analyze complex quantitative data, offering them the analytical techniques needed for high-level academic research.
In the third session, Dr. Bahrawar Said, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences, introduced students to Power BI for data analytics. This training was especially beneficial for those interested in the corporate sector, as it focused on creating interactive dashboards, visualizing business data, and making informed, data-driven decisions.
