Department of Psychology, University of Wah, to foster meaningful dialogue on essential familial and societal values, organized a seminar on Moral and Ethical Values with a special focus on "Respect for Parents and Elders" on 29 April 2025. Dr. Samina Rashid, Chairperson, Department of Psychology, a distinguished academic and expert in the field, was the guest speaker for the session. During her thought-provoking talk, she highlighted the profound importance of respecting parents and elders, addressing the topic from emotional, moral, and religious perspectives. She emphasized parents' rights and underscored children's responsibilities to fulfill their duties with sincerity, compassion, and love. Dr. Rashid urged students to internalize and practice gratitude and obedience in their daily lives, aiming to cultivate a more respectful and ethically grounded youth.
