Three University of Wah students- Ms. Zainab Bibi (Mathematics Dept.), Ms. Fatima Hashmi (Economics Dept.), and Ms. Faiqa Saeed (Sociology Dept.) participated and showcased their artistic skills at the Painting Competition organized by the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP), Islamabad, commemorating Pakistan's Independence Day. The students presented their artwork to Ms. Ambreen Jan, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and received recognition for their creative expression. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Ambreen Jan and attended by a diverse group of honorable guests, including Ms. Imrana Wazir, Executive Director General of DEMP; Ms. Samina Farzin, Director General of DEMP; Mr. Arshad Munir, Executive Director General of the Information Service Academy; and other senior officials from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. University of Wah participants were awarded prizes and certificates for their contributions. The event served as a platform for artistic expression and an opportunity to foster a deeper understanding of Pakistan’s rich history, resilience, and cultural diversity, with attendees from various backgrounds coming together to celebrate.
