Department of Management Sciences, in collaboration with UW Placement Office organized a 3-day training from 24-25 August, 2022 on ‘Trading Prerequisites’, followed by ‘Live Trading Practice’ with Pakistan Stock Exchange on 30 August 2022. The objective of training was to create awareness and enhance financial literacy of students, so that they understand investing / trading in the financial markets of the country.
Mr. Shabeer Elahi, a trainer from Askari Securities Limited, Pakistan Stock Exchange, Islamabad conducted the training. Dr. Osman Sadiq Paracha, Chairperson Department of Management Sciences also participated. Ms. Noshaba Zulfiqar, Department of Management Sciences organized the training as Focal Person while the organizing team included Dr. Mahwash Hussain, Mr. Kamran Ahmed and Mr. Farhan Shahzad. 33 students along with the faculty members attended the event.
