Department of Management Sciences, UW organized a three-day Accreditation Visit by National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) from 18- 20 May, 2022. The visit aimed at reviewing the departmental performance for the years 2019-2021. The Peer Review Team (PRT) included Dr. Naveda Kitchlew, Associate Professor, Department of Management, University of Management & Technology, Lahore; Mr. Adil Amin Kazi, Assistant Professor, FAST-NU, Islamabad; Dr. S.K Shehzad, HoD, Air University, Islamabad; Dr. Saddam Hussain, HoD, COMSATS University, Attock Campus and Mr. Usmal Ali Jadoon, Assistant Manager, NBEAC. The PRT reviewed and verified all the documents related to strategic management, curriculum, students, faculty, research and development, resources, admissions & examination procedures, and social responsibility. The team also visited the Directorate of QA & E, ORIC, Radio Station, Offices of Controller of Examination, Administration & HR, Library, Computer Labs, Girls’ Common Room, Cafeteria, Faculty Offices and Classrooms. The departmental team members including Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Management Science; Dr. Osman Sadiq Paracha, Chairperson, Department of Management Science and Dr. Saima Aftab, Focal Person, NBEAC, along with other team members, facilitated the PRT in conducting a successful three-day accreditation visit. A de-briefing session was arranged on Day-3, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, UW and attended by all the strategic heads of the University. The PRT team highly praised the efforts of UW for quality education and sustainable development. In the end, the Team shared their insightful comments for better standing of UW amongst HEIs. The visit ended with a note of thanks to all, followed by a group photo session.
