A delegation of MS and BS students from the Biosciences department, led by Dr. Idrees and Ms. Zeenat Haq, participated in the “2nd International Conference of Sciences on Revamped Scientific Outlook of 21st Century 2023,” organized by Rawalpindi Women University on 15 November 2023, to showcase their research prowess and curiosity. Four research posters by MS students were selected for presentation, and the poster "Estimation of Air Pollution Associated with Cement Industry" by Dr. M. Idrees, Prof. Dr. Uzma Ghazanfar, Ms. Zeenat Haq, and Ms. Maheen Raja won the second prize. Their study focuses on preventing air pollution and lung disorders associated with the cement industry. The international conference brought together renowned scientists from across the globe, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange.
