Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Wah, organized a distinguished foreign faculty lecture titled “Importance of Financial Accounting in Modern Business Decision-Making” on 12 February 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. Laeeq Razzak Janjua (PhD), Compliance Officer at TMF Group, Poland, and Lecturer at WSB University, and was coordinated by Dr. Farhan Shahzad.
Dr. Janjua, an experienced finance and compliance professional with prior roles at Citibank, MoneyGram International, and BNP Paribas, highlighted the importance of financial accounting in ensuring transparency, ethical reporting, regulatory compliance, and informed strategic decision-making.
The lecture, attended by BS (BBA & BSAF) students of the Department of Management Sciences, provided valuable academic and practical insights, reinforcing the significance of accountability and sound financial practices in modern organizations.
