BS Psychology students from University of Wah, in celebration of Mental Wellness Month, visited Hope for Children Orphanage under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Rizwan and course instructor Ms. Wajiha Arshad as part of their Community Development Project on 24 January 2026.
The visit aimed to promote psychological well-being by enhancing leadership, communication, teamwork, confidence, and emotional awareness among the children. Students engaged the children through interactive activities, including trust-building games, energizers, marshmallow teamwork challenges, show-and-tell exercises, emotion recognition using emojis, and simple cause-and-effect experiments. The initiative provided a meaningful experience that highlighted the importance of mental wellness, social skills development, and community support during childhood.
