Media and Mass Communication Society, University of Wah, organized Media Fest 25, a one- day national event that brought together over 50 students from institutions including FAST University, Islamabad; University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Taxila; HITEC University, Taxila; COMSATS University, Wah Campus; Wah Engineering College; and the University of Wah on 13 June 2025. Dr. Muhammad Haroon Yousaf, Director of ORIC, UET Taxila, graced the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest, applauding the initiative for encouraging creativity and inter-university collaboration. The fest featured photography and videography competitions, allowing students to showcase storytelling through visuals. An open mic session offered a space for poetry, spoken word, and music, while fun activities like the scavenger hunt and cube challenge encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Media Fest 25 served as a platform for students from various disciplines to connect, collaborate, and develop their skills in a supportive environment, which promoted a sense of solidarity and shared purpose. The event concluded with a lively closing ceremony, where certificates and shields were awarded, commending the participants for their enthusiasm and creativity.
