University of Wah is delighted to announce that Mr. Ahmad Rauf, a Ph.D. scholar from the Department of Physics, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi and co-supervision of Dr. Javeria Amin, has won 1st Prize in the Poster Competition at the 1st International Symposium on “AI Horizons: Revolutionizing Interdisciplinary Frontiers & Ethical Implications,” held on 13 May 2025 at Rawalpindi Women University, Rawalpindi. The symposium was organized by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at Rawalpindi Women University, in collaboration with HEC Pakistan.
The event included keynote talks, poster presentations, and interactive sessions with field experts. The symposium featured renowned national and international AI experts and drew participation from across disciplines, including AI, healthcare, agriculture, engineering, and ethics. Mr. Ahmad Rauf’s poster stood out for its scientific rigor and innovative interdisciplinary approach, earning top honors among numerous entries from across the country. This remarkable achievement reflects the high-quality research being conducted at UW and is a testament to the academic excellence fostered by our faculty.
