Department of Computer Science had the honor of hosting Mr. Khalid Khan, CEO of Central Asian Cellular Forum (CACF) Software House, Islamabad, on 22 January 2025. The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations between academia and industry. It began with a formal welcome by Dean, Faculty of Computer Science, Dr. Wazir Zada Khan, followed by a discussion on joint research projects in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Software Development, as well as opportunities for internships and student training. Mr. Khalid also toured the department’s state-of-the-art AI and Data Science labs, where he commended the department’s advanced facilities, innovative research, and impressive student projects. The visit concluded with a commitment to strengthen ties and schedule follow-up meetings for future collaborations.
