UW Social Science Society, under the supervision of Ms. Shehla Nazmeen (Faculty In-Charge, Social Science Society), and with the active participation of BS-3 (B) Psychology Department students, organized a remarkable Winter Drive initiative on 21 January 2025. This thoughtful initiative aimed to unite the campus community in supporting underprivileged individuals during the harsh winter months. The drive focused on providing essential items to community-based needy students. As part of the drive, the team visited Government Girls Primary School in Khanwa, Tehsil Hassanabdal, where they distributed school shoes, socks, stationery items, and food packages to the students. The Winter Drive highlights University's dedication to community service, emphasizing how collective efforts can aid those in need during the colder months and the importance of giving back. Such initiatives promote compassion and civic engagement among students. We appreciate the efforts of Social Science Society and participating students for their dedication to this noble cause.
