Computing Society, University of Wah, organized an enlightening seminar titled “Generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs)” on 26 December 2024. This event aimed to foster innovation and knowledge-sharing, aligning with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). The session was led by Mr. Rizwan Kareem, Data Scientist and AI Researcher, from Stella Technologies, Islamabad, who provided in-depth insights into the concepts of generative AI, the architecture of LLMs, the influence of training data on AI performance, and real-world applications of these technologies. Participants praised the seminar for its engaging and informative content, feeling inspired by the transformative potential of AI. Dr. Wazir Zada Khan, Dean, Faculty of Computer Science, extended his gratitude to Mr. Rizwan Kareem and presented a university souvenir to him.
