University of Wah Science Society (UWSS), in collaboration with the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), organized the PSF Science Caravan on 19 December 2024. This initiative, part of the PSF's Science Popularization program, aims to bridge the gap between academia and the community by bringing the wonders of science to educational institutions. The Science Caravan, a mobile platform, fosters a love for science among students by igniting curiosity and inspiring exploration. The event at the University of Wah featured interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and visits to the UW Lab Complex and Faculty of Basic Sciences labs. Students examined human physiology and microbiology slides in the PSF’s specialized van and viewed mesmerizing space and galaxy demonstrations in a planetarium balloon set up in E-Hall. These activities offered hands-on learning experiences, encouraging innovative engagement with science. This collaboration between UWSS and PSF enriched the educational landscape, promoted science in daily life, and showcased a commitment to community engagement.
