University of Wah Science Society (UWSS), under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Uzma Ghazanfar, Dean, Faculty of Basic Sciences, and the supervision of Ms. Zeenat Haq, Faculty in charge UWSS, organized the fourth UW Science Fun Gamma, a grand national event that brought together guests, faculty, and students from top-notch educational institutions on 19 December 2024, fostering a spirit of innovation and collaboration through 17 meticulously designed modules. The event featured intellectually stimulating activities such as STEM Quest, Scientific Crossword, Intellect Insight, Science Mockups, Scientific Treasure Hunt, Sci Cycle, and a lively Sci Carnival, showcasing creativity and scientific curiosity.
Major General Prof. Abdul Khaliq Naveed (Retd), Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Principal of Wah Medical College, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, inspiring attendees with his insightful address. The ceremony was attended by Deans, Directors, Principal officers, Chairpersons, Faculty of Basic Sciences, Principals and faculty of various prestigious institutes. The event showcased incredible talent and passion from participating institutions, including University of Chakwal, University of Haripur, POFIT, Wah Medical College, Base Colleges, Wah Cantt and Taxila Campuses, F.G Post Graduate College, Wah Cantt, Riphah International College, Wah Cantt, Govt. Associate College Taxila, Sir Syed College Campus 1, Wah Cantt, Mashal Degree College, Wah Cantt, CB College, Scholar Science College, and Wah Engineering College in this national science celebration aimed at disseminating scientific knowledge while incorporating an element of enjoyment.
The UWSS Core Team (2023-2024) was recognized with shields for their outstanding contributions during their session. The event exemplified the University of Wah's commitment to promoting science and education while building lasting bonds within the academic community.
