Department of Chemistry, in collaboration with University of Wah Environmental Society, organized an event, “Chemistry Models and Posters for a Sustainable World,” to promote academic excellence and environmental awareness on 12 December 2024. Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC, and Ms. Mehwish, Additional Registrar HR, University of Wah, graced the occasion as the chief guests. Dr. Farhat Saira,, Senior Scientist specializing in nanomaterial synthesis; Dr. Azra Yaqub, Senior Scientist at PINSTECH; and Mr. Gohar Alam, Former Assistant Manager at Wah Noble, were judges, and their expertise added significant value to the event. Dr. Bilal, Director, Student Affairs; Mr. Waqas Javid, Deputy Director, Student Affairs-WEC; and Ms. Shehla Nazmeen, Deputy Director, Student Affairs-UW, also attended the event, sharing their insights and praising the students' efforts. Students from several colleges, including Mashal Degree College, F.G Postgraduate College, F.G School No. 1, and Base College, all located in Wah Cantt, and Horizon Degree College, Talagang, participated in the event. Students showcased their commitment to academic excellence and received shields and certificates for demonstrating dedication to fostering innovation and interdisciplinary engagement.
