A group of 25 enthusiastic students, accompanied by the Deputy Director, Student Affairs, Mr. Waqas Javid, represented the University of Wah in the opening ceremony of the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games 2024, held on 14 December 2024, at the Sports Complex in Islamabad. The ceremony, which was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Sanaullah, Adviser to the Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), with the recitation of the Holy Name of Allah Almighty, followed by the national anthem, setting a tone of unity and patriotism. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the Mashal Marathon, where our national and international gold medalists took the lead, with Irshad Nadeem lighting the ceremonial torch. The event also featured a captivating display by Arshad Nadeem, who impressed the audience with a remarkable javelin throw, symbolizing the spirit of excellence and determination in sports. Participants from various provinces proudly showcased their provincial flags, highlighting the diversity and unity that define our nation. University of Wah's participation in the ceremony demonstrated its pledge to promote sportsmanship and foster national unity among students.
